Empty Spaces 2020-21
During the Covid 19 Pandemic I have been capturing spaces in London which would normally be full of life in their emptiness, void of people and life. Some places have people but a fraction of the numbers who would normally occupy those spaces.
Many of the photographs here focus on the River Thames which is my usual subject, what has been stack is the lack of boats and movement on this normally busy river. This has allowed for reflections rarely seen to be visible.
One hopes we will never see London like this again, sometimes the quietness has felt quite eerie, reminiscent of the film 28 Days Later.
They are presented here in chronological order with the oldest first.
